Volunteers, the heart of HEART!
Volunteers handled over 3.4 million pounds of food multiple times during the first twelve months of COVID; grocery store pickups, weighing food, stocking shelves, packing boxes of food, delivering boxes to curbside, loading boxes of food into hungry neighbor’s cars. Additional volunteers operate the back office, maintain communications, manage finances, invite future champions, and spread the cause.
(If new, you will be asked to complete a VolunteerHub account.)
